Why Bob?

Bob Edwards brings with him a wealth of over 40 years of business experience. He was an owner in Edwards Marine and Calais boat manufacturing. Over 26 years they sold over 8000 boats all around the world. Bob also owned a metal fabricating business specializing in commercial awnings, custom signs, and custom metal fabricating. He also has experience in residential and commercial real estate development, construction and financing. Bob has been involved with acquisition, sales, leasing, rentals of equestrian centres, acreages and luxury homes. His connections in the movie industry brought 6 movie productions at one luxury property. Bob is a hard working team player who has built his business on repeat and referral business.

His first commercial real estate deal was in 1973 where he purchased a commercial property on Clearbrook Road in Abbotsford. His first residential real estate project was in the early 1980's in Chilliwack where he developed a 29 lot golf course subdivision on Meadowlands Golf course. This project was developed and marketed during a time when interest rates were over 20%.

In the late 1980's his company purchased a 3 acre site on the Langley Bypass where they constructed a 48,000 square foot commercial building for his retail boat business and the boat factory. He has also built several homes from Chilliwack to South Surrey and bought several properties in the United States. This broad array of business experience in good times and bad has proven invaluable to Bob and his clients.
