Dear Bob and prospective clients: As you know we had our home on the market for almost 3 1/2 years, with 3 other realtors, with no success.The last one before you, I was told he was the finest realtor in the nation, with world wide contacts. Bob Edwards listed our home after a lengthy listing period had expired with another agent. We were by no means unhappy with the first agent’s service, but Bob presented me with a marketing package that I found very attractive (marketing is my background, so I was quite intrigued by his approach), and so decided to give him the opportunity. He immediately went to work arranging a realtor tour by way of direct invites to the realtors he felt were most likely to have clients in our market range. He also hired a professional photographer and provided first class printed materials, considerably better than anything I had seen previously in the market. It was not long before showings were being arranged (by some of those very realtors he went out of his way to ensure attended the realtor open house) and soon afterwards, an offer was presented. I was initially insulted by the low offer and told him I didn't even want to respond with a counter offer, but he convinced me to allow him to work with the clients to see if he couldn't get them closer to the asking price. After much hard work on his part, and a lot of hard negotiation, we accepted an offer close to our asking price. Well done Bob! Bob is proof that hard work DOES make a difference in real estate. To add icing to the cake, Bob told us we did not have to clean our house after move out because he was hiring a crew to come and do that for us. Can't tell you how appreciated that was. To top it off, Bob helped us find and negotiate a great price on our current house and had his ladies come and clean before we moved in. A very classy gesture.
